Think of communication as the bridge and the work as the road itself. A bridge that does not reach the road on the other side leaves you stranded no matter how many times you build it or try to cross. The same holds true for your leadership. A bridge stops just short of the road on the other side of the river. It looks strong and well built, but it doesn’t quite connect. Cars line up, ready to cross, but there’s no way forward.
